What’s the role of language when designing an inclusive experience?

His name was George Floyd.

After his murder on May 25, 2020, part of our community questioned the role of UX writing in systemic racism and white supremacy. They examined the use of words that could perpetuate racist stereotypes.

Let’s question our practice and our role when designing inclusively.

• We are those who welcome users ;
• Who help them achieve their mission ;
• Who congratulates them.

But sometimes, we can make them feel uncomfortable ;

We can exclude, without intending to, WORSE without knowing.
